Try these two for starters:
Langman ... obviously for his height
Oblong (my good friend) ... for the head

Cheese last name was Bacchus. His father had a store behind where Shameer Bacchus lived next to Harry Kissoon's rum shop.
As a matter of fact Cheese's father and Shameer's father are two brothers.
Cheese's father was known as Tilfah.

By putting Nack-ass name up here I have proven him wrong. He was an old man who lived a few doors from me but who I knew little about. He had few family who cared for him. he planted his own vegetable garden, sold his produce and used most of his money drinking himself to drunkness daily. Then he would walk along the street and comment public "philosophical" comments on people of the street and his life. I distinctly remember him saying daily "when me dead, nobady go remembah me." For that alone, he is remembered.
The was i have learned to see nack-ass character is as someone perofrming a social function. I see him more as one of the village commentators on public mores and morality, voicing a perspective which was hardly his own but rather belonged to the poor, hopeless and abandoned people in many villages. Such cahracters are found in communities around the world.
I am very interested in the social origin and public function of this type of character because the way a society/community treats its "non-normal" people helps us to understand the underlying values of the community
Did/ Does you village/community have one? Please share.

| Jane, now that u mention him, yes. But, there was another Haracoo in A.Catherina who was gay and used to be part of the Prime and Clad bull-cow show. Until today, I dont know if that ws his real name. Maybe others can fill us in.

That's right Abidees. And he had a daughter name Jasoda Persaud in my calss. They were nice people.
I think the CI's Wolf was badder though beacuse he did not live far from the Anna Catherina "zoo" with Tiga, Lion, Daag, Labba, Hag. Closer home he had to contend with the like of Saddam, Gabbar Singh, Ringo, Polyfamous.
U think Leonora Wolf (or any Wolf anywhere else) could compete there?

| Shiek, like Shanaz, was a quiet chap. He was left-handed and a reasonable cricketer.
