Okay you will find there are a few people here who lived at Leguan at one time or the other.

Did you know Zalim Bacchus, ZGGS student?

How about Rambachan of Success?

How about Awad, Lorick, Fatso Persaud.

I went on a school tour to Leguan in 1968. It seemed like a million miles away back then.. but then i was very young and even got sick on the trip.

Listen then is a LINK on Leguan Island ( the yellow dot). It will take a lot of work for me to re-do the red dots, but i will much later. Right now i want to get content going.

If you want to give a lil write up on Leguan, that will be awesome. How about size, schools, villages. We know very little of Leguan so anything will help.

If you want some ideas on how to go about it, send me an email and i will give some input.

Ravi

All the name sound familar but none that I could put a face to.  When was Zalim at ZbGSS?  I will try to make some time and do a write up on Leguan - no promises, I am very, very lazy when it comes to writing.

Zalim was there a year longer than me. He would have started in 1969 and left in 1975.

Mr. Rambachan (teacher) was originally from Hague. He went to Leguan in the 60s.

I went to ZBGSS with Carl and Sharon Ganesh. I know Carl tragically passed on as a result of a motorcycle accident in Kitty sometime in the early 80's. However, since that time I have never heard anything about Sharon Ganesh.

Also, there were the Murrays, Marilyn and Naomi and their elder brother whose name I cannot remember.

These are all students who traveled from Leguan to ZBGSS during my days.

Not forgetting to mention Futch [cannot remember his correct name] and Samuel Ramjattan. There was this very quiet fellow in my class whose father I think was the captain of the vessel Malali or Torani when it plied the Parika to Leguan route.

If someone knows about these individuals please raise your hand.

Reuben Wade passed away about three years ago. Wicketkeeper Wade lives in NY and yes, one of the Gurpersauds married one of the Wade's daughters - Andra.

I heard those two names you mention but do not know them personally.

Carl and I were great friends, he was in 5A and I was in 5B(ii).  Sharon lives in New York - I lost touch with her.  The Murrays all reside in Ontario.  The quiet person you mentioned must be Vickram or his brother sleepy, like me they were both quiet in high school.

Exactly! That name I was trying to remember and I could not.

Vickram was a cool guy and he was bright also. We were buddies in school and we sat next to each other for Geography with Udit. I remember very well his father was the captain on one of the ferries.

I would like to say hello to Sharon. She was my good friend in class and she also was very friendly and quiet.

Thanks for reminding me that it was Vickram Singh I asked about.

So , you probably know Roystan Murray aka Red Man. He was in 5C or D and I was in 5A. Roystan aspired to be a cricketer. I wonder if he has the sucess he desired.
