Do u know a Richard Mahase, Shameer Ali, Barbara, all from Leguan.
Barb used to live in the Church yard opposite the cricket ground
James..sorry, dont know these names...
i traveled daily to sch from 71-76..
see my response to McVan's question!
if u have ever been to leguan..when u get off the ferry stelling..u can go right or left..like the top of a "T"
or go straight down...(so leguan roads r in "T" shape...)
i lived on the right 'arm' of the "T"
i left leguan shortly after i completed high sch (76) and visited once in a while after that.....
.... the folks i would know were ppl on this side of the island....going towards and beyond the cottage hospital
the others were either daily commuters or business folks who commuted often on the ferry....
about he cricket ground..
i know of more than one cricket ground..
most popular was one located in enterprise..ie about 5-6 mins walk from stelling..on the rt. 'arm' of "T"
the other was at maryville govt school..going on the opp side of "T"
Shameer Ali and my mom were good friends, Richard B Mahase was related to my Neighbor and were very close friends with allot of people in Blenheim, I used to live a few houses before the hospital just past Blenheim koker

VJ
i remember her..
very beautiful dougla girl!
was it her bro or dad who owned a 'cake-shop' yrs ago...???
Yes. Her brother had that cake shop and they lived in the back. You should also know Richard B Mahase, he used to travel briefly daily on the ferry. He lived in that small concrete house in the yard where Peter used to live.
I think I went to school with Barbara daughter, I know Peter he's related to my best friend, my family and the Tularams are close, one of my cousin is related to them.
