Na(m)an: I'm well familiar with these words especially if it had a hindi origin. Hindi is my wife's native language,so I won't have a problem there.
Salipenta has a more shiney coat (lizzard-like) with forked-tongue. It can be arms length long. Jane is right about buloo-buloo. Kind regards.

Dry-eye: Lying without any signs of doubt.
Laal-aaff:easing off on a chair or bed,etc with sprawling legs.
Dharu: Rum or liqour.
Taangay: Like hanging up the washes. (aay ghyal jo na heng up de clows yet?)
Tangaywala: Man pulling two wheel cart with passenger.
Murgi-chor: Fowl thief.
Does anyone have some more brain teasers for me? I'm really enjoying myself.
